On the F-15E hydraulic system, Pall upgraded the on-board filtration, as well as improved the ground cart and maintenance solutions, which reduced costly actuator change outs by 87%. (presented at SAE A6 meeting)
Fluid Recycling (Ground Support Equipment)
Purify hydraulic fluid by removing particulate, air, solvents and water. Reuse and extend the fluid’s service life and improve flight control component reliability along with fewer aircraft ground aborts using Pall’s NATO codified fluid portable purifier.
Avionics (E/E) Cooling Systems
We provide robust avionics (electronic equipment) cooling filtration solutions that remove free water and solid particulates from cooling air, ensuring the reliability of essential military electronic systems is maintained.
Engine Bleed Air
Engine bleed air is used for a variety of secondary functions within military aircraft and it is essential that this bleed air is free from contamination. Solutions include inline soot filters (metal fiber media filters) as well as single tube vortex.
Radar Cooling Systems
Radar liquid coolant systems (using fluids such as coolanol or poly alpha olefin) rely on effective filtration to remove particulate and water contamination, hence protecting the sensitive electronic equipment downstream.
Military Engine Lubrication and Fuel Systems
Maintaining a specified level of fuel and lube cleanliness is critical to the operation and reliability of military aircraft engines. Using fine filtration leads to:
