Pall announces global expansion plans to support growth in food and beverage filtration and manufacturing
With increased customer expectations, unpredictable supply chains and growing competition, food and beverage producers are under significant pressure. It is why in 2019 Pall embarked on a multi-year capacity expansion project focused on facilities in Bad Kreuznach Germany, which primarily serves the Food and Beverage market customers.
To date, Pall has completed the construction of an additional building, moving and qualifying all equipment to support a full production schedule in 2022. As a result of the move, Pall can use available space in its original building to install a new depth media production line, adjacent to the existing lines. The equipment on the new production line will support flat sheet configurations and SUPRA depth filter modules. While a significant investment was made in our depth media production, this capital project will also positively impact cartridges produced in Germany. We expect this project to be completed in early 2023.
“This expansion will increase manufacturing capacity at the Bad Kreuznach site," said Vaclav Broz, Pall Project Engineering Director. "As a result, customers will see improved reliability and efficiency helping them meet their manufacturing goals."
Pall remains committed to delivering the quality products and services customers have come to expect. This significant investment in Germany along with the recently announced capacity expansion investment in Singapore underscores this commitment, allowing Pall to increase manufacturing capability and throughput and improve on-time delivery.
