Our High Flow Particulate Filtration Systems are proven to efficiently and reliably remove contaminants from a wide range of process and product streams.
Our Liquid/Liquid coalescers are efficient at removing water from final products including gasoline, diesel, jet, and LPG and separating water from refinery intermediates. Together these technologies help prevent fouling and minimize downtime while improving final product quality.
Both can be installed quickly for emergency upsets or used to reach longer-term product quality improvements or schedules for use in short or long-term rental requirements when CAPEX restrictions may prevent purchase.
WATCH OUR VIDEOS to discover how to service rental equipment when we cannot be present and appreciate how simple the process is.

Hazy ProductFinal refinery products are usually filtered and coalesced to remove solid contaminants and suspended water prior to leaving the refinery premises for final delivery. Contaminants, such as rust and pipe scale can foul and erode distribution equipment (e.g. pumps, nozzles, flow meters) as well as end users’ equipment (e.g. engines, boilers). Water in fuels can also cause corrosion leading to major problems within the engine injection system or the engine itself.Learn More About Hazy Product »

Hydroprocessing – Catalyst Bed or Exchanger FoulingHydrotreating is a catalytic chemical process to remove Sulfur (S), Nitrogen (N), Oxygen (O), and metals from straight run and cracked products. This “clean-up” also saturates olefins to yield easier-to-process intermediates. Removing the S reduces SOx emissions when fuels are combusted. Sulfur also poisons downstream reformer catalysts and must be removed from the feeds to improve catalyst bed activity and prevent costly shutdowns.Learn More About Hydroprocessing »

Acid Gas Removal – Amine FoamingAcid gas removal processes utilize amines or specialty solvents to remove acid gases such as H2S and/or CO2 from Refinery Fuel Gas (RFG) in order to meet the gas quality specifications. The sour gas is contacted with lean amine in the contactor tower. An acid-base reaction occurs, binding the acid gases to the amine with a weak bond. The rich amine then flows to a regenerator, where heat breaks the weak bond between the amine and the acid gas, releasing the acid gas and regenerating the amine for re-use. The acid gases exit the top of the regenerator for further treatment while the lean amine is recirculated back to the contactor in a recirculating loop. Acid gases must be properly treated to achieve oil production quotas and avoid operation bottlenecks.Learn More About Acid Gas Removal »

Caustic Carryover/High SodiumCaustic treating is used to upgrade a wide range of liquid fractions from LPG to diesel fuels and heating oils. As the caustic solution (and often a catalyst) mixes with the hydrocarbon feed it either extracts or sweetens mercaptans, depending on the process used. However, the combination of the hydrocarbon and mercaptan-rich caustic also forms a very stable emulsion that is difficult to separate, causing significant quantities of caustic carryover in the product. If the caustic emulsion is not separated from the hydrocarbon stream the results is off-spec product.Learn More About Caustic Carryover »
