Job Title: R&D Rotation Program Associate

What has been the most impactful moment for you here at Pall?

Even though I’ve only been with Pall for a year, changing locations from our Cortland, NY site to our headquarters in Port Washington, NY has been pivotal. Adapting to a new environment and collaborating with different teams accelerated my growth and broadened my understanding of the company early on in my journey.

Are you involved in any associate resource groups (ARGs) here? If so, which ones, and what’s your favorite part about being involved?

I recently joined the LatinX ARG. It’s been great connecting with others who share similar cultural backgrounds, seeing how their experiences as Hispanic professionals mirror my own, and building empathy within the group.

Why is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month important?

Hispanic culture is rich and diverse with unique traditions and histories from many different countries, yet there is a strong sense of unity. To me, it represents one of the earliest forms of globalization – the blending of the Old and New World. It’s a powerful reminder that we can overcome differences, unite, and build something greater together.

Name: Ricardo Ochoa

What do you wish people knew about working at Pall?

The ability to grow your career here is endless – whether looking at growth opportunities within Pall or our parent company, Danaher, associates are encouraged to keep growing and expanding their roles.  I also love the culture of Danaher Business System (DBS) which creates a culture of continuous learning and improvements.

Are you celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month? Why is it important?

Hispanic Heritage Month is an important time to honor Hispanic and Latino Americans' history, culture, and contributions.  It can also serve as a reminder of how diverse and far-reaching the Latino community truly is.

What are you passionate about outside of the office?

When I’m not in the office, I like to travel and visit new places. I am constantly looking for new areas to explore!
