The Future of Beer: How Smart Technologies can Upgrade Sustainability and Operations at your Brewery

Duration: 50 minutes

The business of beer worldwide is projected to grow annually by 3.67% (CAGR 2023-2028) resulting in a market volume of 130.2bn L by 2028. With this incredible growth opportunity, brewers must stay competitive by ensuring optimal beer production that addresses the challenges of quality control, sustainability initiatives, and process inefficiencies.

Some of the root causes to these challenges include:

  • Lack of visibility into machine performance metrics that impact quality.
  • Inability to obtain accurate consumption data and relate it to influencing factors from the process, which creates the risk of not utilizing full optimization potential.
  • Intense binding of manpower for data collection, plus a risk of human error in data compilation and evaluation.
  • The sheer amount of process data necessary to survey and evaluate is simply overwhelming.

So how do breweries become even more efficient and improve quality consistency? How can brewers hold themselves accountable surrounding company sustainability initiatives?
