Pall gas filters are used throughout the PV value chain. CVD and other process gases are filtered to eliminate defects in the silicon ingots as well as the photovoltaic cells. Pall's Gaskleen Filters are designed for use in the photovoltaic industries and are engineered for high particle removal efficiency with high flow rates and low differential pressure.
Particles are expelled from the gas stream and the materials used are highly transparent to molecular contamination. Metal fiber technology allows for rapid gas displacement and molecular transparency during routine maintenance and system upsets. Moisture held us in the filter media can lead to corrosion and / or particle formation due to reaction with the parent gases.
